Acanus / FMC / Manitowoc SP10-PC-048 Lock Release Air Cylinder – 4-Post Surface Mount Lift
This pneumatic cylinder releases the safety locks on Acanus, FMC, and Manitowoc 4-post surface mount hoists, allowing the lift to be lowered. One cylinder is located in each corner of the lift. When air is applied, the rod retracts to pull the lock latch open. The barrel measures 5 inches, with an overall length of 10 inches when the rod is fully extended. When this cylinder fails, the locks may not release properly, preventing safe lowering of the lift.
