This cam plate is part of the slave side safety latch assembly (Figure 5) on the Direct Lift PRO9D 9K two-post lift.

The cam plate rotates within the latch mechanism to transfer the release action on the slave column, so both columns unlock together when the operator releases the latches. A worn or damaged cam plate can leave the slave latch stuck engaged, preventing the lift from lowering evenly.
