Challenger A1070TC Inner Arm Restraint Moon Gear for CL9 and CL10 2-Post Lifts
The arm restraint system on 2-post lifts locks the swing arms in position under the vehicle during lifting. The inner (moon) gear mounts to the arm and engages with the outer plunger gear to create this lock. The A1070TC is the upgraded-style gear featuring angled (beveled) teeth for improved engagement. If your arms sag slightly, this gear allows full engagement without requiring new arms or carriages (unless excess sag has occurred). Important: if you are replacing old-style straight-tooth gears with this beveled-tooth version, you must also replace the outer plunger gear (A1072TC) at the same time – they are a matched set and will not function correctly if mixed with old-style gears.
