Forward Lift 992693 Cross Rail Chain – 4-Post 12K Super Mezz, Built 2007 to Current (12’3-1/2″ Side to Side)
The cross rail lifting chain on a Forward 4-post Super Mezz hoist runs from a stud on top of the off-side column, makes a 90-degree turn through the cross rail, reaches the cylinder-side column, makes another 90-degree turn, and anchors at the bottom of that column. Pins can loosen over time, links can break, and a failed roller will accelerate chain wear. Always replace the entire chain end-to-end and inspect all rollers for free rotation and no center wear before installing.

Fitment and Ordering Notes
This is the cross rail chain running side to side; see separate listings for the overhead (front-to-rear) chains. This chain may need to be cut down depending on how level your floor is. The 2007-to-current Super Mezz variant uses a 12-link-thick, 1/2″ pin-to-pin chain – different from the 2003-2006 variant (part 992690, 7 links thick, 3/4″ pin-to-pin). Measure the lift side to side (outside baseplate to outside baseplate) and confirm the measurement matches 12’3-1/2″ before ordering. Verify specifications against your lift’s parts manual before purchase.
