The Direct Lift NH4D-1005 is Cable Sheave B, the plastic pulley used on Direct Lift 9K Parking Wider V and PP9+ 9K four-post parking lifts. It is shown in the Cable Routing & Components (Figure 8) and Crossbeam / Safety Latch Assembly (Figure 1) sections of the factory parts breakdowns.
The sheave guides the lifting cable through the crossbeam and cable routing path, keeping the cable aligned and protecting it from wear. Grooved, cracked, or seized sheaves accelerate cable wear and should be replaced along with an inspection of the cables themselves.
