Product Description
This is an electrical micro switch made for MANY brands of Automotive lifts and is the switch used to limit vehicles from hitting the top beam between the 2 columns on 2 post lifts. It controls the hydraulic motor and is the Stop button that is attached to a trip wire or is inside a housing with a limit bar. It came in many OEM application on Lifts made by Rotary lift, Forward Lift, Direct Lift, Hanmecson Lift, Challenger Lift, Quality Lift, Whip Lift, Western, Worth, Tuxedo & many more. It was used in motors built by SPX & Global Hydraulic Systems (GHS), Duro and used in other brand motors as well. Please see below for OEM part # reference.

Forward Lift Stop Bar / Limit Switch for 2 Post Car Lift
This Switch has a max rating of 270vac is rated for 25amps and is usually found on 208-230vac motors
It has 2 male spade connectors sticking out of the side and bottom and has a small plastic button on the top of it which is what actuates the switch. There are 2 holes diagonally from each other in the corner of the switch for mounting into the housing. These are mounted in a switch housing which is what is actually pressed or pulled by the limit switch mechanism. These switch housing are many times green in color and are threaded for mounting in the motor housing or a housing on top of the lift. This listing is for the switch only and unless your housing is damaged this will make your lift function again. We did picture the switch housing for reference purposes in pictures. The housing is not included in this listing but is available.
