BendPak 5585605 / MTE 38500237 Lowering Valve Cartridge for MTE Hydraulic Power Units

This lowering valve cartridge (also called a manual release cartridge valve) controls the descent of the vehicle on automotive lifts equipped with MTE hydraulic power units. The lowering valve regulates hydraulic fluid flow back to the reservoir when the lift is lowered, allowing for controlled, safe descent. A faulty lowering valve may cause the lift to fail to lower, lower too quickly, or lower unevenly. This cartridge-style valve is found on many popular brands of automotive lifts running MTE power units in both 110V and 220V configurations.
