SPX / Fenner Stone 2181-BA Long Motor-to-Pump Shaft Coupler – 9-Spline, 1.75″ Length

This coupling connects the electric motor shaft to the hydraulic gear pump on SPX Fenner Stone power units used in automotive lifts. Located between the motor and the gear pump, it transmits torque from the motor to drive the hydraulic pump. When this coupler fails, the power unit motor will run freely without loading the hydraulic pump – you will hear the motor spin but the pump will not whine or build pressure, and the lift will not raise. The lift may also make a grinding noise during failure.
